Our mission is to grow fresh, flavorful carrots with care. Thoughtful farming is our legacy, and we’re always evolving—exploring natural compost, reducing waste, and working to create pollinator habitats while nurturing the land we all share.
For generations, we’ve built a legacy of farming with heart, blending tried-and-true methods with fresh thinking. From our field to your table, we’re evolving and innovating for a better tomorrow.
We’re committed to growing better from the ground up. Whenever possible, we add compost to enrich the soil and nurture the roots—helping our carrots grow strong and the land thrive.
We’re developing new habitats to help pollinators like bees thrive, naturally reducing the need for sprays and boosting crop health. It’s just one more way we’re caring for the environment around our farms.
We use every part of the carrot—from root to greens! The freshest, sweetest parts become the babies, sticks, and chips you love, while the tops find new life as fertilizer. Talk about tip-to-tops eating!
Seriously, we use every part! The green tops are left in the field as natural fertilizer—helping to grow even more carrots!
Did you know the outer peel of the carrot is loaded with fiber? These peels are sent to a separate plant and used as an ingredient in sauces, seasoning blends, baked goods and more.
The sweetest, freshest and crunchiest parts of the carrot are used to make the Bolthouse Fresh products you know and love!
Any parts of the carrot that are too large or too small to make your favorite cuts are repurposed in a variety of ways, from baked goods, to juices and even back into the earth as fertilizer!
Sustainability goes beyond farming—it’s in our packaging, too. Our compostable packaging, certified by TUV Austria, breaks down quickly and cleanly, helping us leave the planet better for tomorrow’s generation.
